This was actually from yesterday (Sunday baking - Day 38) but only had time to upload the picture today. The sourdough took a bit longer to ferment vs. the ciabatta, as it was a two stage process; but turned out quite nicely in the end. There's two different methods I've tried for making sourdough so far. Last week was using a sponge as a starter; this week was the old dough method.

ReplyDeleteAgree with Molly - YUMS! You inspired me to buy a loaf of sourdough from the supermarket in Pacific Place (dunno the name ?) tonight and i'm actually munching my 50g of it now...very nice but i'm sure your homemade version is a million times better!
